Drawing from childhood toys, lebanese designer samer alameen has created two ironic pieces of furniture for eclectic italian brand JCP. first in the two double-meaning objects is ‘eret’, a console table reminiscent of meccano, a model construction system for children conceived in 1898, but still popular all around the world. in line with the brand’s aim of transforming normality, the piece’s surfaces appear as if they can be moved and replaced.
