After hundreds of prototypes, milan-based designer francisco gomez paz has created ‘nothing’, a lamp for international company lucepan. instead of encasing the LED bulb inside another material, the electronic element becomes the structure itself to form the floor lamp. the idea is to unravel a printed circuit board, transitioning it from a two-dimensional surface to a three-dimensional product. the proportions and bending angles of the aluminum plate determine the light angles, resulting in minimal shadows on the surrounding area.
